INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION DEPARTMENT
In order to expand international relations and transform the education system, the position of Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Transformations has been introduced at our university. This area of activity is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of our university in the global arena, strengthening its position in international rankings, and creating broad opportunities for students.
The purpose of the department
Today, the widespread use of the latest achievements in the educational process based on international standards is one of the urgent tasks. In this regard, the International Cooperation Department is engaged in the establishment and development of friendly, cultural, educational and scientific cooperation between the institute and other educational institutions of the world. It provides advisory assistance on issues of internships and short-term courses for improving the qualifications of teachers abroad, participation in grant and scholarship programs of Erasmus, UNESCO, the El-yurt Umidi Foundation, the European Union and many other countries.
DEPARTMENT'S OBLIGATIONS
• ensuring the implementation of the university’s relations with foreign higher education institutions and scientific centers, including the conclusion of contracts, agreements and memorandums;
• organizing visits to the university by foreign specialists, teachers and students;
• attracting foreign investments to improve the educational and upbringing process;
• assisting teachers, researchers and academics in obtaining foreign grants;
• providing advice on preparing documents for foreign business trips of teachers, researchers and scientists;
• providing recommendations on the participation of teachers, researchers and scientists in various international grant projects and programs, as well as educational funds;
• establishing and expanding relations with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan.
